Trevor Jones

Trevor Jones was born on a small family farm and raised in Leamington, Ontario. As a young man, he worked in both greenhouse and vegetable packing facilities where he developed a keen interest and a deep respect for issues pertaining to Ontario’s agri-business industry.

After earning both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Windsor in Political Science and History, Trevor joined Ontario’s Public Service where he served with distinction for over twenty years – first with the Ministry of Transportation and then as a professional law enforcement officer and supervisor with the Ontario Provincial Police.

Trevor’s passion has always been his family and his community. For this reason, Trevor elected to transition careers back to his roots and apply his training and professional experience to serve concurrently as the Director of Procurement for Mastronardi Produce Limited at its Kingsville, Ontario headquarters and as Director for Hazel Farms, Leamington where he supports the executive team as a producer of high quality, specialty, organic snacking tomatoes. In total, Trevor’s team is accountable for the Canadian supply program of fresh, greenhouse grown fruit and vegetables – supporting more than 50 independent growers and nearly 1000 acres of Ontario greenhouse space
